3 handy iPhone apps to check out

The iPhone is full of possibilities, but not only through the iOS operating system and Apple's own apps. Also and above all the software offers in the App Store ensure that the smartphone from Cupertino becomes the perfect everyday companion. In this guide I will show you 3 iPhone apps that you (possibly) do not know yet. For a quick overview, here are the names, which I will go into in more detail below: air foil - a solution for broken computer speakers, tax fix - a solution for the tax return, and Wolfram Alpha - a solution for all those inquisitive.

Maybe you know them, but maybe you don't: Airfoil Satellite helps with receiving the computer audio, Taxfix helps with tax returns and Wolfram Alpha helps with everything else. These are the three iPhone apps that I will introduce to you below.

Airfoil Satellite - Stream audio from Mac or PC to iPhone

Are you missing an audio output device on your Mac? Are your headphones broken or are the built-in speakers in your laptop crazy? No problem, because with Airfoil you can stream system and app audio over the WiFi network to the iPhone. To do this, install the Airfoil app on macOS or Windows, which you can get on the developer's website. On the iPhone you need the Airfoil Satellite App, which is available in the App Store. It is important, however, that the free computer version only transmits 10 minutes of audio. The full version is $ 35. Do you know a free alternative? Then leave a comment! :)

Taxfix - complete your tax return on your iPhone

For many, the tax return is a taboo subject - not because you don't talk about money, but because it annoys you and nobody likes to deal with forms and receipts. The makers of Taxfix, who want to simplify the process with their app, also know this. You can already clarify whether the download is worthwhile on the website of the offer by answering a few questions. If it is predicted that you will receive a tax refund, it is then worthwhile to study the app and its possibilities further. The good thing about it: Download and use are free. Costs are only incurred if there is a refund thanks to the submitted declaration.

Wolfram Alpha - Science, Facts, and More

Stephen Wolfram has been working on a digital library on all sorts of topics for over 30 years. However, this is not just a collection of text or formulas, but is now an extensive, interactive offer. Do you want to know which aircraft you are currently seeing in the sky? Do you want to know whether the tide is ebb or flown on a coast? Do you want to convert a formula into a graph? Or do you want to find films with certain actors? All this and much more is possible with the Wolfram Alpha app on the iPhone. There is also the Wolfram Alpha View app as an additional offer. A great reference work for only 2,99 euros.

  1. Hi, I've always done well with your recommendations, unfortunately not quite this time... the Wolfram APP is basically. not bad, assuming you speak English... I'll say that my English is good, but it won't be possible to ask "unknown things" correctly in English... but this is necessary to get the right answer, or can be set German somewhere?

    1. Hi Andreas! I'm afraid the app only understands English. I always forget that I should always add that to the recommendations. I live in Denglish so much that sometimes I don't even notice. : D Unfortunately, you can't adjust anything with Wolfram Alpha.

  2. ok, then at least it's not me and the attitudes!
😏 I had the APP in mind more for my daughter and it is far from that far in English ... 🤷‍♂️
