The option for iPhone 15 Pro financing and for installment payments when purchasing other Apple devices, which we cover here, applies to purchases on Amazon. Not only is there a one-off payment of the total price and interest-bearing financing via Barclays Bank is offered there. Amazon itself also offers financing, for which the purchase price is split into five equal parts, which are then paid monthly.
But this financing option is not always available for technology or other expensive products. In order for Amazon to offer this option, you have to prove yourself trustworthy according to the company's specifications. If you are looking for interest-free installment purchase with a brand new account, after previous payment difficulties or only with the IBAN, you will not find what you are looking for. So take a look at the following checklist of points to consider.
Requirements for iPhone 15 Pro financing at Amazon
In order to be offered trust-based financing for expensive products by Amazon, several requirements must be met. These are summarized as follows:
- For the local installment purchase you have to have an Amazon account for the German, Austrian or Swiss platform.
- The Amazon account must have existed for at least a year - so long-term customers are more likely to be trusted here than people with a fresh account.
- There must not have been any payment difficulties with the account so far - i.e. cases such as payment arrears, insolvency, etc.
- A credit card that is valid for at least 20 days after the last installment is due must be specified as one of the stored means of payment.
- A Prime membership is not necessary in order to be offered interest-free and credit bureau-free financing.
Financing the Apple iPhone 15 Pro – installment purchase without interest on Amazon
If you can check off the points on the list above, Amazon sees no other concerns and the financing offers are not being suspended for other reasons, you can get started. Simply call to use the payment option the iPhone 15 Pro product page on. There you will not only find the reference to “5 monthly payments” under the price, but also the option to pay in installments in the purchase options on the right.
So instead of buying the Apple iPhone 15 Pro with 1 TB of storage for 1.829 euros, you can order it in five installments of 365,80 euros each. Then you will receive it directly (of course you currently have to wait until September 22nd) and then pay it off over the financing period.
