To promote the new film “The Family Plan,” Apple is giving away two months of its streaming service subscription Apple TV +. During these two months you can not only watch the film starring Mark Wahlberg, but also all other films, series, documentaries and other content from Apple TV+. The promotion is only valid until this Thursday, January 18, 2024. However, you can take advantage of it even if you have already used a free and/or paid period. At least it worked for me; I don't currently have a paid subscription and was able to secure two free months.

Pay attention to the small print when taking advantage of the promotional offer. After the two free months, the subscription to Apple TV+ will be automatically renewed. Then it costs €9,99 per month. But that doesn't have to deter you, because you can cancel your subscription at any time. Simply put a date in your calendar shortly before the end of the free period that you have to cancel Apple TV+ - and you'll have a reminder that doesn't come in the form of a bill for just under 10 euros. You can cancel on the iPhone and iPad via the Apple ID settings and on the Mac via the subscription overview in the App Store.

“The Family Plan” and other Apple TV+ content
In “The Family Plan” Mark Wahlberg plays a former hitman. He has to save his family and goes on an adventurous road trip. But other content should also convince people to subscribe to Apple TV+. For example, “Killers of the Flower Moon” with Lily Gladstone, Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro can be streamed. The film is set in the 1920s and deals with the crimes against the Osage, an indigenous tribe in North America, after oil was discovered on their land. Other films, sometimes serious and sometimes more shallow, as well as a wide variety of series and documentaries round off the offering.
