Chapter in this post:
Kontist is a banking offer that offers a special service for self-employed and tradespeople from 9 euros per month. In addition to a MasterCard included, the Kontist account offers automatic tax calculation and the transfer of the respective amount to a separate reserve account. There is also an accounting connection. This is a great offer, especially for those who are just starting their own business, are looking for a business account and don't want to forget taxes. Transparency notice: those used here Links to the provider are affiliate links.
From my point of view, the advantages of the account are that the tax is calculated automatically and the tax that you are likely to have to pay is transferred to an extra sub-account. There are many self-employed people who go bankrupt after the first year because they have not thought about tax reserves. And I have to admit: Even after 20 years of self-employment, it is still the case for me that I am sometimes surprised by the taxes.
The second good thing is the duo bundle (see table) with the lexoffice invoice program. The software has been highly praised by users, especially because the iPad version works great too. If I were looking for a business account and an invoicing program, I would choose this bundle. There is also the Kontist app, with which the account balance, taxes, income, expenses and so on can be viewed quickly and easily.
