Chapter in this post:
The creators behind the “Affinity Revolution” YouTube channel, who explain how to use the photo and image processing app in YouTube videos and online courses Affinity Photo show, publish their knowledge as a free e-book. The offer is limited until July 25, 2021 and you must register for a free online course in order to receive it. This is led by Ally Anderson and shows "10 Steps to Amazing Photos" on. In addition to the eBook, the download also contains photos that can be edited using the steps outlined.
Personally, I like Affinity Photo by Serif because it is a comparably good alternative to the much more expensive Adobe Photoshop in terms of scope and functionality. The one-off price of € 54,99 (Mac App Store, as of July 16, 2021) is often reduced by half. With Photoshop, you quickly pay several times as much with a subscription. You can save even more with the Affinity Revolution offer until July 25, 2021. If you register for the free course implemented on the Teachable platform (all information here), its contents are also available as an eBook. That is explained again in this video.
Auf dem Youtube channel From Affinity Revolution there have been new videos for the last four years that revolve around Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher. You can learn everything from simple photo enhancement to fantastic compositions - free of charge and without registration. So if you don't want to sign up for an online course and / or mess around with an English-language eBook, the video tutorials may help you. But there are also other sources, even in German. Over the past few years we've highlighted these here and there:
After graduating from high school, Johannes completed an apprenticeship as a business assistant specializing in foreign languages. But then he decided to research and write, which resulted in his independence. For several years he has been working for Sir Apfelot, among others. His articles include product introductions, news, manuals, video games, consoles, and more. He follows Apple keynotes live via stream.
