Chapter in this post:
Age of Empires IV, or AoE 4 for short, became announced four years ago and is now about to be released. From October 28, 2021 you can play the next part of the popular real-time strategy game. So that you have your version for Windows or the Microsoft Xbox Series X console at home exactly by the deadline, it can be pre-ordered. Then you can play the four campaigns with 35 missions that span over 500 years of history right at the time of release. And that in 4K graphics on the PC, on the Mac equipped with Windows or on the current Microsoft console. There are suitable accessories for these.

You can pre-order Age of Empires IV at Amazon. In addition to the PC and Xbox version, there are also the right accessories with which RTS games can be played on the console: mouse and keyboard.
Age of Empires IV continues with the fourth part, which was announced at Gamescom 2017, the popular real-time strategy series that started in 1997. The first part has not been completely forgotten (like the less-noticed third part), but for many the focus is mainly on the second part. Age of Empires II from 1999 (also on the Mac since 2001) has been hugely popular since it was released and is currently also being played at esports level. Many streamers and YouTubers base their careers on the 22-year-old game. AoE 4 should build on this success. Pre-order Age of Empires IV at Amazon goes with this link.
Playing shooters with a controller isn't really fun. Controlling an RTS game like Age of Empires with a controller is something I definitely can't imagine. Such games live from the mouse and keyboard shortcuts. So if you want to benefit from the Xbox Series X and the resolution of your television for Age of Empires 4, then I recommend the right accessories: keyboard and mouse. There are especially for space-saving equipment on consoles for example this set. There is that too with this link as a radio version.
