The right USB-C charger for the socket

Anker has various chargers that offer up to 60 or 65 watts via USB-C Power Delivery (PD). My test report on the Anker PowerPort Atom III with 60 W. can be found here. Another charger that I can recommend for Apple iPhone, Apple iPad and also for laptops like the Apple MacBook is the AUKEY PA-D5 with also 60 W - here in the test. It is also equipped with GaN technology, making it small, slim and powerful Anker PowerPort Atom III Slim. It has a USB-C port and three USB-A ports. The total output (!) Is a maximum of 65 watts. Cheaper and equipped with 65 watts via a single USB-C output this AmazonBasics model.

  1. Hi Jens,
I'm looking for a charger for my MacBook Pro 15 from 2012 (center). So it should have the MagSafe port and 2 USB ports.

Do you have an idea where I can get something?

Thank you and best regards from Munich,
    Armin

    1. Hello Armin! I just looked for it, but couldn't find a product. I think the target group is too small. That is why you can only find pure MacBook Pro power supplies with MagSafe, but without extra USB ports. Sorry…
