Apple releases Freeform - Digital Whiteboard for iPad, iPhone and Mac

With the new update versions of iPadOS, iOS and macOS, the Freeform App comes to compatible devices in addition to other new functions and adjustments to known features. This new one App from Apple offers cross-device and cross-user work on a digital whiteboard on which notes, handwritten entries, sketches, blocks of text, images, links and much more can be collected. This allows projects to be planned, concepts to be worked out and other tasks to be completed. Designs for publications or the organization of events can also be realized in it. Freeform as free design space for collecting ideas

Apple itself describes the new Freeform app for Mac, iPhone and iPad as a flexible workspace that makes it possible to see all content related to one thing in one place. In addition to your own creations in text and images, links, copied content, videos and files can also be inserted. An integrated preview function ensures that you can view the files directly without having to download them first and search for the right program. Freeform's individual canvases are stored in iCloud, so you can access them from different devices and share them with others. More information is available in the official press release.

In order to be able to use Freeform, you have to update your chosen device. The new iOS 16.2 and iPadOS 16.2 are also coming to the iPhone and iPad Apple Music Song on the devices. If you have an Apple Music subscription, you can use a karaoke function in the music app after the update. However, there is another adjustment to the iPhone: the AirDrop reception "For everyone" can then no longer be used indefinitely, but is limited to 10 minutes.
