Nevertheless, I think that the offer of Apple iPhone XR and tariff with Allnet-Flat for calls and SMS as well as 10 GB high-speed data volume (with LTE Max in the CO2 network, then with up to 1.000 kB / s) as well as a one-time additional payment of 1 euro isn't that bad at all. There is a discount for “young people”, i.e. interested schoolchildren, students and trainees aged 14 to 27.

In addition to the 1 Euro additional payment and the connection costs of 29,99 Euro, these prices apply:

• Apple iPhone XR with 64 GB storage: 54,99 euros / month
• Apple iPhone XR with 128 GB storage: 57,99 euros / month
• Apple iPhone XR with 256 GB storage: 62,99 euros / month

Of course, as everyone should know, the one-off price of 1 euro is an advertising medium. The actual cost of the smartphone is added to the tariff and monthly payments. Therefore, the tariff costs also differ depending on which storage option you choose. Nevertheless, such an “installment payment” including tariff is certainly more attractive than buying a new Apple iPhone XR for 849 to 1.019 euros. 

In addition, the Apple iPhone XR with tariff is cheaper, even if the monthly costs seem quite high. The basic price for the O2 Free M tariff with a 24-month contract period is 29,99 euros. If you deduct the amount for the tariff without a “young people” bonus, you get an additional payment of 30 euros per month. Multiplied by the 24-month term and adding the one euro from the beginning, the result is 721 euros for the iPhone XR with 64 GB - a saving of 128 euros! ;)

Conclusion on the offers

Do you want to buy the new Apple iPhone XR and also book an extensive frequent user tariff that costs a noticeable amount per month, but makes the device itself cheaper?
