Apple MacBook Pro 13 ″ with up to 32 GB RAM, 4,5 GHz and 4 TB storage

No major keynotes are currently possible, which is why Apple is simply introducing its new products via press release and shop launch. This is how the new one became Apple MacBook Pro 13 " published quite unspectacularly. The new power laptop from Cupertino once again sets new standards in portable apple performance and also comes with a Magic Keyboard. In addition to the Magic Keyboard, a Touch Bar with Touch ID is also used. Both can accelerate the workflow in numerous possible applications. Anything can be connected via four Thunderbolt 3 ports (partly via adapters and dongles, of course); including one 6K, one 5K or two 4K monitors and displays with lower resolutions. The data transfer of up to 40 Gbit / s, the power supply and the use of the eGPU are also guaranteed via all connections. The battery is advertised as having "all day battery life".

A quote from the Official press release:

"Whether student, developer or creative professional - the 13 ″ MacBook Pro offers strong performance, an impressive Retina display and all-day battery life in our most mobile professional notebook. Today we are adding to the new Magic Keyboard, doubling the standard storage space and increasing the performance, which means that the 13 ″ MacBook Pro offers our customers an even better price-performance ratio"Said Tom Boger, Apple's senior director of Mac and iPad product marketing. "With these updates, our entire notebook product family has the Magic Keyboard for the best typing experience that has ever existed on a Mac notebook, offers twice as much storage space as before and delivers even more performance."

Apple MacBook Pro 13 ″ - scope of delivery and price

The scope of delivery of the new Pro laptop with 13-inch display is manageable. Included are the computer, a 2 meter long USB-C cable and a 61 watt power supply. The price for this depends, of course - as always - on the equipment you choose. You can already make a preselection on the product overview in the Apple online shop. The offers start at 1.499 euros; for this price with a 1,4 to 3,9 GHz processor, 8 GB of RAM and only 256 GB of SSD storage. The most expensive starter model costs 2.379 euros and has 2,0 to 3,8 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage. If you stock up on the hardware with maximum performance and memory on the product page, you will quickly end up at a price of 4.379 euros.

Only top models come with new Intel processors and four TB ports

My friend Thomas just pointed out to me that there are two more differences between the top models and the cheaper 13-inch MacBook Pro models:

Only the top devices are delivered by Apple with the Intel CPUs of the 10th generation and with 4 Thunderbolt ports. The other models have the 8th generation Intel processors and come with 2 TB ports, which I personally find a bit meager. I have a constant shortage of USB-C ports - even though my MacBook Pro from 2017 is even equipped with 4 TB sockets.

It should be noted that only the 2 top models have Intel processors of the 10th generation (and also have 4 Thunderbolt connections) in contrast to the two "weaker" models with Intel processors of the 8th generation (with only 2 Thunderbolt connections).

Hello Thomas! Thanks for the hint. That is a not entirely unimportant thing. : D I add it in the text.
