But maybe there is exactly the model that is right for you among the Amazon offers. If so, then you can rely on fast shipping; At Apple, the shipping period can change from time to time, so you have to wait longer.

If you need even more performance, then you'll probably prefer the M2 Max instead of the M2 Pro. This chip can be configured with even more GPU cores and coupled with three times as much RAM (up to 96 GB instead of 32 GB). Both CPU and GPU access, which promises faster data exchange and more graphics performance. The data rate of the M2 Max is also 400 GB/s, while the M2 Pro is 200 GB/s.

Current selection quite manageable
With Amazon, you can not only rely on fast shipping, but also use other means of payment than Apple. That's why I ordered my MacBook Pro (2022) there in April 2021. However, the current selection of the latest models looks quite thin compared to the many configuration options that actually exist (see here). But sales have only just started. If certain models prove to be top sellers or if general demand is very high, Apple could make more configurations available on Amazon.
