In the age of PS / 2 interfaces, who would have believed that all possible and impossible devices could be plugged into a computer with just one tiny connection? So not me. So last year's AUKEY Hub for MacBook Pro is a clear sign that we are living in the future. The following connections can be operated via the Thunderbolt connection of the Apple laptop with the multifunction dongle:

  • 2 x USB 3.0 connection (up to 3.0 GBit / s are possible via dual USB 5)
  • 1 x USB 2.0 port (with up to 480 Mbit / s data rate)
  • 1 x HDMI 1.4 connection (video up to 4K and 30 Hz)
  • 1 x SD and microSD card reader each (also SDHC, SDXC, microSDHC, microSDXC)
  • 1 x USB Type C delivery port for charging devices with a corresponding connection (+ data transfer via USB C port with up to 5 GBit / s)
