Chapter in this post:
If you are looking for used computers and smart devices such as smartphones, consoles and the like, then the department could be yours Certified and refurbished Help from Amazon. The good thing about it: the used devices are, as the name suggests, certified and completely overhauled, which brings a certain guarantee of functionality. You also order from Amazon, which means fast shipping and a right of return. A safe alternative to eBay classifieds, eBay and possibly the Amazon Marketplace. But how does the price compare - can other platforms offer better bargains?
In the overview of Certified and refurbished on Amazon On the one hand you can choose between device and electronics types and on the other hand you can click on individual brands. So you have the choice between these device types:
There is also a choice of the following brands:
As a test, I clicked on the Apple symbol on the linked page above and looked at the prices of the certified and refurbished iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches and other Apple products. On the one hand, I have the prices of individual offers with me reBuy on the other hand with cheaper.de compared. Here is a small overview of the results (status: end of March 2017; all prices are "from" prices):
|Apple device||Certified and refurbished on Amazon||Offers / prices at reBuy||Offers / prices at billiger.de|
|Apple iPhone 6s Plus Space Gray 64GB||589€||557,99€||759€|
|Apple iPhone 5C Yellow 16GB||214€||78,99€||399 € (159,99 € as eBay offer)|
|Apple iPhone 4S White 16GB||129,99€||101,99€||189,90€|
|Apple iPad 4 WiFi + Cellular 64GB White||386,36€||-||-|
|Apple iPad 2 WiFi + Cellular 64GB Black||325,84€||-||-|

Amazon already has some good prices and a larger selection than the other two providers. At reBuy, however, you also get very good quality, which is why I would order there in view of a bargain, so the price for the desired device is cheaper than at Amazon. At billiger.de mainly new devices are displayed, but also partly second hand offers are listed. If these come from private sellers on eBay and are very cheap, I would rather tend to Amazon or reBuy.
The three providers are by no means the only ones - do you know any other providers or search engines for used Apple devices that offer warranty and a return service? Then leave a comment! :)
