Chapter in this post:
The leading manufacturer of professional and amateur camera drones DJI has presented a new quadrocopter with photo and film functions: the DJI Mavic Air 2. The new addition to the Mavic product line replaces the predecessor that appeared two years ago and, as a fundamentally revised version, brings with it new specs. The technical data from the DJI Mavic Air 2 data sheet, pictures of the new drone, videos and of course the price for the individual purchase and the Fly More Combo can be found in this post. If you don't want to read boring data, but want to get a picture yourself, you can also do it directly stop by the online shop.
Here you will find a list of the most important technical data from the DJI Mavic Air 2 data sheet. Below I have compared some of them with the Mavic Air from 2018. This way you can see even more clearly where the advantages of the 2020 model lie.
DJI has all the important and, above all, new functions for extensive use of the DJI Mavic Air 2 on a presentation page clearly illustrated with image and video examples. On the most boring similarities of DJI Mavic Air (2018) and DJI Mavic Air 2 (2020) such as operating temperature from 0 ° C to 40 ° C or GPS and Glonass as location services, I do not want to go into the following. The comparison of the DJI Mavic Air vs DJI Mavic Air 2 should rather show the most striking differences. Notes on comparability with the DJI Mavic Mini can be found below;)

In this Video On YouTube you will find a lot of further information as well as test recordings (photo and video) that were made with the DJI Mavic Air 2. Photos are from position 3:45, video recordings are made in segments from position 5:30 and position 11:10 and every now and then in between. You can also find the time stamps in the progress display and the video description. The video is in English.
If none of this is for you, then maybe the DJI Mavic Mini accept. These have been available since the end of 2019 from 399 euros in the official shop by DJI. The specialty of the small drone is that it weighs only 249 grams. You don't need any proof of knowledge (“drone driver's license”) for it and it has three flight modes: C for cinema (cinema-like videos), P as standard and S for sport (fast recordings). The small alternative to the DJI Mavic Air 2 and DJI Mavic Air can also use microSD cards up to 256 GB and fill them with videos up to 2,7K resolution. The flight time is up to 30 minutes. Take a look at the post linked above or on the shop page, there you will find more information about the mini drone;)
