The Sir Apfelot blog was started several years ago by Jens, who, as Sir Apfelot, collected tips and tricks for problems with Macs, iPhones and iPads. A small team is now at work to provide you with news about Apple's product range on a daily basis. It is no longer just about problem solving, but also about hardware and software advice, test reports on new products and the presentation of new technology gadgets.
The Apple Knights of the Round Table
If you want to know who researches and writes all the helpful and informative articles for you, then you can find the three people behind the blog here.
Jens has been running the blog since 2012. He acts as Sir Apfelot for his readers and helps them with technical problems. In his spare time he rides electric unicycles, takes photos (preferably with the iPhone, of course), climbs around in the Hessian mountains or hikes with the family. His articles deal with Apple products, news from the world of drones or solutions to current bugs.
After graduating from high school, Johannes completed an apprenticeship as a business assistant specializing in foreign languages. But then he decided to research and write, which resulted in his independence. For several years he has been working for Sir Apfelot, among others. His articles include product introductions, news, manuals, video games, consoles, and more. He follows Apple keynotes live via stream.
With Lynne, a graphic artist and designer has joined the team who contributes articles on the topics of homepage, web development and Photoshop. YouTube has recently become one of her areas of activity. Lynne is (unintentionally) very good at generating error messages and thus ensures a steady influx of problem-solving articles, which repeatedly make the Sir Apfelot blog a popular contact point for Mac users.
