There is also the function Copy and Haste: If you copy a text or just a word you want to search for to the clipboard and then press the command key twice within 5 seconds, the copied text will be searched for automatically. There is also a plugin for Safari that you can activate when installing Haste. When searching via the menu bar, the Browser used that you set up as the default web browser. In addition to Safari, Firefox, Chrome and Co. are also possible. Incidentally, searches are also started if your text is sent via Drag and Drop on the Haste symbol.
