Chapter in this post:
Which iPhone 13 charging cables are there, which are recommended and which can even damage the battery? Here you will find some information that will help you find the right cable for charging the battery on the Apple iPhone 13, 13 mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max. Most USB cables are also suitable for exchanging data, e.g. B. to make a backup of the smartphone on a Mac or PC. Of course, the Apple smartphone from 2021 is also compatible with MagSafe. In the following you will find different iPhone 13 charging cables in suitable lengths;)
If you want to buy a new Apple iPhone 13, you don't necessarily have to order a new cable. Because indeed the iPhone 13 is delivered without a power supply unit, a USB-C to Lightning cable is included in the scope of delivery. In combination with a strong charger with a power of 20 watts or more, it can also be used to "quickly charge" the cell phone battery. Up to 50% can be charged in just 30 minutes. You can read here why this might not be such a good idea in the long run: Charging with Apple MagSafe is harmful to the iPhone battery.
If you want to charge the iPhone 13 battery gently, i.e. without heating it to over 35 ° C, then we recommend using a weaker power supply (below 20W) or using a USB-A-to-lighting cable. USB-A is the rectangular connector that you never get into the slot the first time you try. You can get a selection of suitable cables that you can order from Amazon with Prime Shipping using the following links:
Some modern chargers still have USB-A ports, but are more designed for USB-C. If you want to use one of these and, if necessary, use the quick charge function of the iPhone with an output of more than 20W in order to fill the battery in a short time, then use a USB-C to Lightning cable for the iPhone 13. In the following list you can choose different lengths of the iPhone 13 charging cable with USB-C - of course I have again limited the search to offers with Prime delivery:
Since the iPhone 12 (mini / Pro / Pro Max) from 2020, Apple smartphones can also be charged “wirelessly” using MagSafe accessories that are attached to the back of the devices. This complements the option of wireless charging via Qi chargers, which has been possible since the iPhone X from 2017. A selection for the matching iPhone 13 (mini / Pro / Pro Max) charging cable with MagSafe is available here:
A selection of power supplies and chargers that you can use for the current iPhone generations can already be found in the guide linked above (first link). At this point we would like to show you only a small selection so that you can put a suitable charger in the shopping cart when you buy one of the cables shown above. One possibility would be to strike here: Three UGREEN USB-C chargers with 100 watts of power. Otherwise there are also good loaders from Anker, for example from the "PowerPort" series: Anchor PowerPort III Duo. And for the sake of completeness, the originals too: Apple power adapters.
