The three new Macs presented at the WWDC23 keynote are those 15 inch MacBook Air the Mac Studio with M2 Max or M2 Ultra and the Mac Pro with M2 Ultra. The latter closes the transition from Intel processors to Apple silicon away. Accordingly, the upcoming operating systems will be even more tuned to this ARM system.

When will the upgrade to macOS 14 appear?

According to Apple, the new version of macOS will be officially rolled out in autumn 2023. In advance there is of course Beta versions for developers and other interested parties. But the finished macOS Sonoma for the general public there is only after one of the autumn keynotes, possibly as early as September. However, it is also possible that the upgrade to macOS 14 can only be loaded in October or November. In any case, you have to be patient for at least another quarter of a year.
