In terms of work, I have to manage significantly more blogs than just Sir-Apfelot, because as an SEO and Internet agency, we build all customer websites with Wordpress. You can usually no longer see that blog software is behind it, but for administration it is almost always the same WordPress admin that I use.
Chapter in this post:
Management of multiple WordPress blogs with one Mac app
Of course it's annoying when you keep checking back into the same blogs Browser need to log in to post something new or edit a page. [1Password->1password] helps a bit, because it "remembers" all the logins, but in the end it's always working in the browser window. [Windows Live Writer->windows-live-writer] has long found a place here, helping people who have many blogs to manage. Unfortunately, there was never a version for Mac OS X, so Mac users never got to enjoy their blogs with one either App to be able to manage. There were various programs that tried to step into the breach, but they were so immature that after a few tests I decided to use my Firefox for blogging again.
Blogo - the Live Writer for the Mac
I have to admit: as I did Discovered in the blogo app store I didn't hesitate for 5 minutes and bought the program. A few weeks ago a friend gave me a 15 EUR iTunes voucher and I have now invested it sensibly. And what can I say - this is my first post with Blogo. So far it makes a good impression on me.
I only noticed one bug: If you drag and drop a picture into a post and then enter ALT tags and caption, the caption is unfortunately not adopted and remains empty forever. So I can test the support right away and then tell you how quickly it reacted. However, it is also a critical time: Friday night just before the weekend. :)
In any case, I'll keep you up to date on what's happening with Blogo, because the software looks very interesting and definitely has the potential to make blogging "on the go" easier.
Update 17.8.2014: You can say what you want, but the community manager from Blogo is named Gisele Goes is on the ball. After just a few minutes I received feedback that this bug was already known and would be fixed in a soon version. On this occasion I also saw other interesting feature requests from other users on the Blogo website: use of custom post types, Markdown Support, integration of the blog's media library, support of Blogger and Tumblr blogs and much more. The programmers also seem to be very active and you can get involved in the community also want features, which are then commented on by Gisele (whether they are already on the roadmap or are being processed with priority).
