Longer Laser B1 30W Laser Engraver for precise laser cutting and engraving
With its stable construction and eight safety functions, the Longer Laser B1 30W Laser Engraver is ideally prepared for using the 33 to 36 watt laser. Incidentally, the same results from the bundling of six individual laser diodes, each with a power of 6 watts. According to Longer, the device is the most powerful laser cutter with engraving function that you can get for home use. 1 cm thick acrylic can be cut with just one pass. Due to the precise placement of the laser, multiple passes for up to 5 cm thick acrylic are also possible.
The fine cuts and engravings continue to result from the longer and thinner focus length of 50 mm and from the Smart Air Assist function, which blows smoke directly out of the laser beam so that it is not scattered.
Compared to competing models in the same class, the Longer Laser B1 30W Laser Engraver also boasts the largest work area. This is almost 24% larger than that of other manufacturers and measures 450 x 440 mm. That's enough for projects of size DIN-A3 and larger!
Thanks to the fast processing of project data on the 32-bit motherboard, short production times can also be achieved. This means that up to 36.000 mm can be covered per minute. The speed of engraving is supported by TMC2209 Silent Drivers, which enables quiet high-speed work.
Due to immediate oxidation: colorful engraving on metal material
The laser of the Longer Laser B1 30W Laser Engraver can be used on metal surfaces to achieve colored engraving using various oxidation processes and stages. According to the manufacturer, more than 300 colors are available thanks to the technology used. A wide variety of signs as well as long-lasting wall decorations can be designed with the device. And thanks to the large work surface, this is not only possible on small materials, but also for large-scale projects. There are examples of laser projects on metal, among others on the product page, where you can currently buy the device with a strong introductory discount. With this, the Longer Laser B1 30W Laser Engraver is currently the only device of its kind with a 30W laser under $1.000.
Laser engraving on a wide variety of materials
From wood to metal to acrylic, a wide variety of materials can be engraved with the Longer Laser B1 30W Laser Engraver. In addition to lettering, images, monochrome copies of photos as well as logos and coats of arms are also possible. The laser can even be used on ceramics, rubber, paper, textiles and many other surfaces. Whether creating gifts, designing fabrics in your own household or an art project for school, university or a hobby - there are many conceivable areas of application. And when you try it out, you will definitely get even more ideas for use.
Eight safety mechanisms for safe work with the laser
A total of eight different safety features on the Longer Laser B1 30W Laser Engraver ensure that working with the 33-watt to a maximum of 36-watt laser is safe. Not only is there an emergency stop button for aborting a project, but also automatic and sensor-based abort functions. If a flame is detected, for example, there is a warning and the laser is switched off. The same applies to the device overheating. An uneven stand or a wobbling of the device also leads to an indication of a correction.
If no more data is transmitted or the laser stops for another reason, it is also deactivated. This prevents the bundled laser from being concentrated on one point over a long period of time and unintentionally eating through the material or heating it up to the point of fire. It is also possible to monitor the laser output - through a fireproof glass window on the laser module, which is tinted to protect the eyes. Last but not least, a security lock ensures that the laser and material cannot be moved manually during a work process. Of course, operations should always be supervised and safety goggles should be worn.
Support various software and data transmission
The Longer Laser B1 30W Laser Engraver supports various engraving and cutting software on macOS, Windows and Linux operating systems. It is also possible to transfer data from tablets and smartphones. Supported e.g. B. Apps like LaserGRBL and LightBurn. Data transfer is possible via WiFi, USB, mobile app and SD card. With USB and memory card no use of computers or smart devices. Supported file formats include JPG, PNG, BMP, SVG, GIF (not animated), NC, GC and so on.
