Chapter in this post:
The RAY5 device from LONGER is a combination of laser cutter and engraving machine for all kinds of creative work. In the manufacturer's official shop you can currently get it including a 10-watt laser head at a discount of $70, i.e. for $459 instead of $529. If you want to save even more, you can use coupon code R510WSAVE30 to get an additional $30 off. This brings the price down to just $429. In the campaign period until the end of July 2022 you will also receive the 5W laser head as a gift. You come to the shop page with all offers and the shipping option from the EU with this link.
With the LONGER RAY5, the cutting and engraving details can be edited both via a smartphone app and via WLAN, a memory card or a USB cable. No connection to a Mac or PC is required via app and memory card. Operation on the device, which has only recently become available with a 10W laser head (previously with 5W), works on a 3,5 inch display. Lines can be processed at up to 10.000 mm per minute. Supported image formats are BMP, JPG, GIF, PNG, DXF, AI, SVG and more.
Here is an overview of the most important technical data of the LONGER RAY5:
In my estimation, the LONGER RAY5 10W is the most affordable entry-level 10W touchscreen laser engraver. If I were currently new to the field, this engraver would be a good choice, as it has a lot of power and also combines convenient functions and high security features in one device.
The first 100 people who buy the LONGER RAY5 with 10W module in the shop linked above will also receive the "Newbie Gift Pack" worth $39,99. This package consists of 77 individual parts made from different materials. From photo frames to chain and dog leash pendants to wooden and acrylic panels, there is a lot. This means that many cutting and engraving tests can already be carried out. The gift is even available in connection with the 5W module that is included free of charge for all buyers in July. Those of you who are on Facebook can with this link take part in a competition up to and including July 15 and, with a bit of luck, receive the LONGER RAY5 for free.
