Chapter in this post:
The technology manufacturer Anker launched the new Max series of RoboVacs in Germany and Austria at the end of last week under the smart home brand "eufy". The first device that can be pre-ordered now and will be available from the end of June 2019 is called eufy RoboVac 11S Max. The vacuum robot offers a suction power of 2.000 Pa and, according to the manufacturer, can even suck in steel balls. Interesting for those who shy away from buying accessories: the filter of the device is washable and therefore more sustainable than the filters of other vacuum robots. Using BoostIQ technology, the vacuum cleaner robot itself adjusts the suction power and brush speed, e.g. B. on a carpet.
Remote control, several modes, automatic level recognition and more are in the new Anker eufy RoboVac 11S Max vacuum cleaner robot with a pleasant price.
The eufy RoboVac 11S Max from Anker should be a real alternative to current top sellers with its elegant, space-saving design and smart functions. The Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum and the Xiaomi / Roborock S50 vacuum and mopping robot exposed. Like the latter, the first device in the Max series from eufy also brings 2.000 Pa; plus a larger dust and dirt container with a capacity of 600 ml. I have listed one disadvantage in comparison below.
Here are some technical data from the Anker eufy RoboVac 11S Max data sheet, which can give you an insight:
I have already linked you to the Xiaomi / Roborock S50 test above. The vacuum cleaner robot with mopping function is the 2nd generation of the popular Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum. It has many advantages and practical functions. In the following you will find the comparison of his data with that of the new Anker device.

And now to a notable disadvantage of the new robotic vacuum cleaner: it lacks the laser sensors for room recognition. This means that he does not - like the Xiaomi, Roborock or even 360 models - create a map of the room and then systematically scan it. Rather, the RoboVac 11S Max drives uncoordinated back and forth. That may be fine in a small room. Cleaning the whole apartment like this can take a long time. Especially since the device has to charge the battery again after a maximum of 100 minutes. For dust on the edges, dirt in certain places, etc. there are the above-mentioned modes, so that the device can perhaps still be used in larger apartments as a support for manual vacuuming ...
“Smart Home” is no longer a hip buzzword, but a reality that many people live by. From automatic shutters to fully networked sound systems to housework, there are many solutions. One of them is the good old vacuum robot. If you use one and can recommend one, please leave a comment. Also and especially when it is not a eufy or Xiaomi model;)
