If the cat hopped over the keyboard in egomaniac mode again or you fell asleep after the 70th cut-out on the keyboard and then only found chaos in Photoshop, then here is the right help for you.
Chapter in this post:
Don't panic ...
First of all: keep calm and maybe take a look in the log to see what the Kamikaze chick or herself has unintentionally edited on the Photoshop document. If nothing wild is to be seen, maybe only a few view options are adjusted so that your usual working environment with Abobe Photoshop is no longer the same as it was before.
Most popular: the tab key
For example, if all windows with tools, layers and the like have disappeared, then you can easily repeat them with the "Tab" key. This is actually meant to be a way to see a document without the Photoshop “clutter”… but it often causes unasked panic among people who accidentally hit the Tab key. But fortunately the problem was fixed relatively quickly. ;)
What else can go wrong?
I am happy to add further problems here if something else special has happened to you. The most common problem is likely to be the hiding of all tools and windows - you can really panic. : D
Use the keyboard CORRECTLY!
By the way, you can use the keyboard not only as a cat walkway or as a pillow, but there are quite a few keyboard shortcuts with which you can save a lot of kilometers in Photoshop that you would otherwise cover with the mouse. If you want to familiarize yourself with this a bit, I can recommend a corresponding keyboard cover with the shortcuts for Photoshop CC. There are a few here for the various Mac models on Amazon.
And if you have the feeling that the dark background is annoying, which is usually always over the desk in Photoshop CC, then I can help you recommend this tip here... you can actually turn it off so that it looks like it did in good old Photoshop CS5. ;-)
