Chapter in this post:
Did you know that background noises can be played back on the iPhone by default? You don't need an additional app to e.g. B. rain, ocean and river noises, light, dark or balanced noise to be able to play. These background noises can have a relaxing effect, be used as a background for playing a podcast or help you fall asleep. How to activate the iPhone background noise under iOS, you will find out in this guide. I am referring to the current version iOS 15.1.
The easiest access to the noises that you can play back on the iPhone without an additional app is via the control center. The corresponding icon with the ear symbol must first be stored there. This is done with the following steps via the settings:
Now you can quickly and easily access the background noises integrated in iOS via the control center. To do this, simply tap the symbol shown above. Then you tap on "Background noises off". This starts playback and the selected sound, e.g. B. "Rain" displayed. There is also a volume control.
If you tap on the sound name, you get to the selection of the other sounds: balanced noise, light noise, dark noise, ocean and river. In addition to playback on the iPhone, the background noise can also be sent to headphones or speakers via Bluetooth. To do this, the respective device simply needs to be paired.
Do you also want to use certain background noises on your Apple Mac, iMac or MacBook for relaxed reading, concentrated work or other purposes? Then have a look at them Noizio app that I showed you in the app recommendations for November 2021;)
