Chapter in this post:
The photo editing software will be released by Skylum Software on November 18, 2019 luminary 4. But from now on you can already pre-order Luminar 4 and secure a special price. In addition to the app, which also works as a plug-in in popular programs, it also includes 250 GB of online storage from CEWE myphotos. I have summarized details about the software, the previous reporting here in the blog and screenshots from the program in the following lines.
With Luminar 4, Skylum will be releasing extensive software for photo editing on Apple Mac and Windows PC on November 18, 2019. In this new version, which you can pre-order now, all important and frequently used features have been revised. Some known as well as new functions have also been equipped with artificial intelligence, for example to recognize the sky, people, structures and other image content. This makes the use of masks, time-consuming pixel selection and similar tools largely unnecessary. Two examples are here AI SkyReplacement and AI Structure.
Take a look at the user interface of the software for professional photo editing, try out some features and get information about the new functions, you can with this link. On the page you will find example graphics and controls with which you can create before-and-after results and thus convince yourself of Luminar 4. In addition, you can place a pre-order at a special price on the site, i.e. buy the new Skylum app at a low price for pre-orderers. By the way, it gets even cheaper if you already own the previous version Luminar 3 and want to upgrade to the new version.
In addition to the standalone application, you can also integrate Luminar 4 as a plug-in in your favorite photo editing program. As a plug-in and extension, it can be used, for example, in Apple Photos, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Lightroom. Unfortunately, there is no implementation in Serif Affinity Photo. With the plugin you can combine numerous individual steps from the compatible programs. Long shifting of controls for contrast, brightness, exposure, white and black points and so on is no longer necessary with the “Smart Contrast” tool in Luminar 4. The same applies to the “Portrait Enhancer” with AI Skin Enhancer, with the portrait -Photos get better automatically.
The photo editing software Luminar 4 is available for the Apple Mac with macOS as well as for the PC with Microsoft Windows as the operating system. From November you can transform your photos into works of art on both systems with new, clever functions. It's not that expensive either; the costs are as follows:
In addition to the 10 euros that new customers who pre-order receive as a discount, everyone who buys Luminar 4 before the release receives an additional bonus. This consists of a free one-year membership to CEWE myphotos worth 70 euros. The advantage: 250 GB of secure online storage for photos that can be easily stored and accessed via the Internet from home, on vacation, business trip and so on. Both photography beginners and professionals can certainly benefit from it.
Here are a few more properties that your computer should have so that the software described runs smoothly on it. Further details, information, pictures and the possibility to pre-order you can find here.
