Jens already gave you the one here in the blog Stanley thermo mug presented, which can keep 500 ml of coffee, tea, soup and other things warm. In summer it also keeps drinks or ice cream cold. If you want to transport more and are also looking for a thermal jug that will keep you warm for up to 32 hours, then I recommend the Stanley thermal bottle or the "Stanley Classic Legendary Bottle". You get this in the Double-XL version with 1,9 liter capacity or in the regular size with 1 liter volume. It is suitable for a bike tour, an extended picnic, a trip to the winter forest as well as for the car and the office.
TL; DR: Here you go directly to the 1,9l thermos bottle
Chapter in this post:
Stanley thermo jug - a classic since 1913
Stanley should be known to everyone looking for a durable and practical thermal jug. The quality product has been available since 1913, works through vacuum insulation with a double wall and comes with a lifelong guarantee. The 1,9 liter model should be able to keep hot and cold drinks or food warm or cold for up to 32 hours. Frozen contents should stay in the desired state for up to 160 hours. So far I have only transported tea in the Stanley thermo jug (in use since 2018) and can confirm that after 24 hours it was still warm enough to enjoy it as if it were "freshly brewed".

Various products besides the Stanley thermos bottle
As Jens noted in his experience report on the manufacturer's drinking cup, the Stanley products are not for ultra-light backpackers. My 1,9 liter bottle weighs 1 kg, the 1 liter bottle still weighs 830 grams, but both are good companions for longer trips - whether on foot, by bike or in the car. The Stanley thermo jug is ideal for longer car journeys in winter, because it offers warm tea, coffee or simply hot water for a very long time; even in traffic jams. You look in the Stanley store, then you will also find food containers / lunch boxes, more mugs, cookware and more. Of course, everything is also suitable as a Christmas present;)

If it says Stanley, there is no “Stanley” in it for a long time. Like thermos, just a name. All clipped together in the same plant in China.
Incidentally, that explains why utopian prices for old Stanleys are being offered on eBay ;-)
Well, I've been using four (!) Stanley thermos cups for a long time and I can't complain about the China quality. Apple iPhones are also made in China, but that doesn't mean the quality is poor. The world is not that binary ...
Jens, you get to the point. Just because it says Made in China doesn't mean you get inferior quality. Otherwise it would have to read, "if it says Apple, there is no Apple in it for a long time". We all know that this is not the case. We're not talking about inferior counterfeit products here.
When you published your first report on the Stanley thermo mug, I immediately ordered a mug and have never looked back. We now have five of these cups in different sizes in our household. In the course of time, three things have convinced me that I bought the right goods.
1. Indestructible
2. Drinks not only stay warm, but hot for many hours.
3. Cups are 100% leakproof (nothing has ever leaked if the cup was in my backpack)
Based on Johannes' report, I have now also ordered the 1 liter Stanley Bottle. Was delivered yesterday. I'm excited. To check the heat resistance, I filled 19 liter of hot coffee at 1 p.m. yesterday and sealed it. This morning at 7 a.m. (after 12 hours) I poured myself a cup of coffee from it. Result: steaming hot coffee, tasty and enjoyable. The temperature of course always depends on how full the bottle is filled.
Of course, I don't usually put coffee in the bottle to drink after twelve hours. In reality, the contents will only remain in it for a few hours and therefore you will certainly burn your mouth over coffee.
Even if this Stanley product was made in China, the quality speaks for itself. With a 25-year guarantee period (within the EU, otherwise even for life), you can't go wrong with the purchase.
Hello Jochen! Thank you very much for your long comment and great that I now know that I recommended something good. :D Sometimes you find things great that others only find so-so. I don't have the Stanley thermos yet, but I think it'll be on my wish list if I ever look for one again. At the moment, however, I am well supplied with the thermal mugs. They're almost like a thermos flask, only with a "drinkable" spout.
