Updated: Mactracker now with M3 Macs and new operating system information

If you want to keep track of Apple's device history, often have to research the technical details of individual devices and/or want to list your own Apple devices in an overview, you need this Mactracker app. The free device lexicon from developer Ian Page is available for the Mac, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Here on the blog we have been mentioning it from time to time for years, especially when the content is updated. This is also the case now: since the turn of the year, among other things: the new M3 Macs included.

Mactracker 7.12.13 now with new iMac and new MacBook Pros

As part of the “Scary Fast” events For Halloween 2023, Apple not only presented the new M3 chip family, but also computers equipped with it. In addition to the iMac with M3, this also included the MacBook Pro with M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max. The technical details and further information about the devices can now be found in the Mactracker app from version 7.12.13. If it doesn't update itself on your Mac or mobile device, go to the App Store and press the update button there. This is how the new information is added. More new content and a look ahead to future Mactracker updates

If you look at the Mactracker version history in the App Store, you will find information about the information that was recently added alongside the new Mac models. They cover details of the latest operating systems and their updates, the latest benchmark results for individual devices and chips, an update for vintage and obsolete Apple products as well as a few minor changes and additions. The next update with further information should not be too far in the future. Because according to the current status, Apple wants the AR glasses “apple vision pro“ will launch in February 2024. The next Mactracker update will probably be available in March or April.
