Chapter in this post:
The blog Sir-Apfelot.de isn't the only site on the web where you can get Apple News, Mac, iPhone, and iPad news, and app updates. In addition to other blogs that publish exciting articles about Apple, I will show you a few more sources below. Of course, this also includes the official Apple Newsroom, where you can find current and past press releases from the iPhone manufacturer. You can easily access all of the Apple News sources shown from your Mac, iPad, iPhone and any other web-enabled device. Have fun discovering!
Where can you find Apple News? Here you will find the list of (in my opinion) the best sources for news about iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, etc. in German and English.
Both on the website of this blog and in the iOS and iPadOS app you will always find the latest news about Apple, the individual devices, the operating systems and the right accessories. You can also get help using your own Apple devices here – in the form of instructions, guides, the forum and individual support via email.
If you use the Sir Apfelot app on iOS or iPadOS, you can pin those articles as favorites that you particularly like or that you need more often for troubleshooting. You can find the free download in the App Store. If you have any questions about usage or other comments, please feel free to contact us.
You can of course find the latest Apple news, reports and announcements in the official newsroom the company. A usage tip: Sometimes it is useful to include the language option in the URL (e.g. the "/de" in apple.com/ de/newsroom) or replace it with another one. Because not all press releases are published in every region at the same time.
There is also Apple News that only applies to one region and is therefore not published elsewhere. Recommended for developers developer page and the Developer app. The System status provides information about the current functionality or problems with online services; there is still that Developer system status.
Apple News, iPhone News, App News, Mac News and more can be found on various German websites, news outlets and blogs. Some are limited to briefly summarized reports, others provide extensively researched articles. You have probably seen one or the other page from the following list on your display:
If you are not afraid to use English sources as well, there are many other sites that I can recommend to you. In addition to the large and well-known newspapers such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Financial Times and similar, which are dedicated to global companies such as Apple, among other topics, there are even more specific websites and blogs - here is the list:
Every Friday you get the Sir Apfelot newsreel here in the blog. In it I summarize the Apple and tech news that I particularly noticed in the respective calendar week. If you don't want to miss an issue and don't want to overlook any other articles either, you can download the Sir Apfelot app mentioned above onto your iPhone and iPad, as well as the Sir Apfelot newsletter subscribe to. It appears only once a week, also on Friday. In addition to the last ten articles of the blog, you will find other exciting information and, from time to time, a competition.
After graduating from high school, Johannes completed an apprenticeship as a business assistant specializing in foreign languages. But then he decided to research and write, which resulted in his independence. For several years he has been working for Sir Apfelot, among others. His articles include product introductions, news, manuals, video games, consoles, and more. He follows Apple keynotes live via stream.
