[Solved] Which SD Card Should I Use with the GoPro HERO 7?

The GoPro HERO7 is the current action camera model from the market leader in this field. This camera, which was launched on the market in September 2018, also saves photo and video recordings on microSD memory cards. But which SD card is the right one for the GoPro HERO 7? What technical data, write and read rates should it have? In the following I have compiled all the information and examples for GoPro HERO 7 SD cards for you. Specs of an SD card for the GoPro HERO 7

It is important to know that all GoPro cameras require memory cards that have at least Class 10. This means that the write rate is at least 10 MB/s. The same is also expressed with U1. Another important designation on microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC memory cards is the V number. For example, V30 (like U3) states that the write rate is at least 30 MB/s. You need this if you want to record 4K videos with 60 fps or want to record 120 fps. Theoretically, you only need a V60 or V90 if you want to take 8K shots. Memory card recommendations: SanDisk and Samsung

The GoPro HERO 7 supports microSD memory cards with a capacity of up to 256 GB. At least 16 GB should be used. Whether you want to use several small or one large memory card for a longer recording session is up to you and your project. However, the manufacturer primarily considers models from the following product lines to be compatible with the GoPro HERO 7 specified:
