Mac Guide: Set Default Browser to Open Links

When you click a web link in an email, document, or elsewhere on your Mac, the associated web page opens in Safari by default. Safari is Apple's own Web browser, which is preinstalled on Apple devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad, etc.) and set as the default app for website display. However, if you want to set a different (installed) default browser to open links, you can do so at any time. Do you want to set a different browser as the default for opening web links on the Apple Mac? You can find the instructions for this here. Not only for the new system settings, but also for old macOS versions.
